Screening Tests

In the early stages of (I) product development and (II) the authorisation of new biocides, screening tests provide a quick and cost-effective way of determining the substances and the doses or application rates suitable for further investigation.

Our team, backed by many years of experience in the fields of entomology, behavioural biology, chemical ecology and parasitology, develops a test plan specifically designed for your test product.

(I) Our numerous research projects have led to the development of a wide range of validated test methods in the fields of human and veterinary medicine (contact, distribution, repellent, developmental and immersion methods), some of which are listed in the European Biocidal Products.

Directive. In the field of animal health, it is particularly valuable to examine the efficacy of products during screening (using a small number of organisms).

(II) Using systematic and cost-effective testing procedures, we identify for you those substances among your candidate compounds that exhibit the desired biological effect.
