Quality management

The Insect Services GmbH is currently in the process of implementing the ISO 9001:2018 certification. In the future, our company will therefore have a quality management system that operates according to a globally acknowledged standard. Skilled personnel responsible for quality management guarantees the implementation of the standards for quality control.

Our efficacy tests are carried out according to ISO/IEC 17025, the worldwide standard for laboratory accreditation, under strictly monitored conditions. For the efficacy tests, we use test equipment with calibration certificate (in Germany DKD/DAkkS). These are proof of traceability to national standards, as required by DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.

The breeding of ticks and insects is subject to strict criteria for achieving consistently high quality and is based on standardized and documented procedures. We also aim an accreditation here, so that our competence can be proven to third parties.

Our research projects are always carried out according to the rules of best scientific practice (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG (Ed.) 2013: Proposals for ensuring Good Scientific Practice: Recommendations of the Commission on Self-Regulation in Science. Wiley-VCH). Furthermore, our publications, our participation in various publicly funded research projects reflect our high scientific standard.
